Vermont Farmer Victorious over Monsanto

Last week, VPR reported that High Mowing Seeds in Wolcott won a legal victory over GMO giant Monsanto. Monsanto losing in court is a rare enough event that you’d think it would get widespread coverage in the VT media. I have seen no other reporting of it anywhere.
It would be like the Jerusalem Free Press neglecting to report that David beat Goliath.
At issue is the Fed’s decision to de-regulate the sale of GMO seeds without looking into either the environmental impacts of GMO seeds or the potential economic impact, to both organic and conventional farmers, of GMO seeds. Read this important story here.
