You would think that all the stories I am exposed to would give me more fodder for this blog but once you are on Twitter, and using the free application called Tweetdeck, everything moves so fast that as soon as you see a link to a great story and read it, up comes another one and this goes on for hours. I hardly ever even read my email. Since I am so obsessive when I latch on to something, hopefully something else will grab my attention and I'll be on to a new obsession.
I just worked outside for the first time in a couple of weeks. Bought new plants but it's either too hot or too cold or the time of day is wrong and so my garden gets neglected again. I was pulling vines and weeds for the two hours I was just out there this AM and cutting down ornamental grasses that I had not gotten around to yet. My garden hasn't been mulched for a couple of years as it usually cost around $1,500 because I have so many areas that need it. The weeds are taking over. I could end all this work by selling our house but who wants to leave Paradise? No matter how much we could sell it for we would never again live like this. Buying a home of equal value could never happen due to the years of labor I personally put in which pays off more and more every year. And Victor wants to move away and buy a smaller house so he could join a golf club again. I'm only leaving here on a stretcher or coffin.
Have to be careful since I am still on Doxycycline plus I still get fatigued easily. I have been taking lots of pictures but never get around to downloading and posting. After I take a short nap, I will try to get that done. One whole pond is empty and a total eyesore due to the Blue Heron who went fishing and poked so many holes in it in the early spring. My "pond engineer" has not given me an estimate to repair it yet. Sprinkler people are supposed to send estimate to repair about 15 heads that seem to have died over the winter. Dreading both. I'll be back, in case anyone cares, on this blog hopefully soon.
