Top Ten Foods to East Organically

Now that I have passed through another birthday, I think it's time for me to be in ernest to improve my health by a perfect diet, I'm trying. And not just by taking multiple tier-two prescriptions and being vegetarian for 32 years. I have not found it difficult to give up things over the years and could quit bad habits for 26 years at a time, as I hear about their harmful effects but suddenly it seems like the amount of things to not do or eat are snowballing at the same pace the ice caps are melting.
I get a daily newsletter from Care2.com, which has great tips and advice on how to be green, clean green, plus other useful information on environmental, animal and human rights issues. It gives you ways to take action like signing petitions to our reprresentatives, senators, and even President Obama, on issues you might feel strongly about, etc. You can visit and sign up if you wish here. Care2.com
I thought I would give you a taste of what you can find there, info I sure want to print and carry a copy of in my wallet. Fruits and vegetables with the highest pesticide follow. Make sure you only buy the organic versions. If you click on the title it will take you to the article that spelled out healthy alternatives, if the organic happens to be sky high on any given week or due to freak weather condition. I know even the non-organic versions can be high.

Highest in Pesticides: Strawberries, Spinach, Cherries, Peaches, Mexican Cantalope, Celery, Apples, Apricots, Green Beans.
