I'm still recuperating.

I have been in collapse mode for the past week, after the big push for Obama. It is so great to wake up in the mornings knowing that Barack Obama is our new President. Now it's time to deal with getting my garden ready for winter and attempting to find out what is medically causing my legs/knees to ache every single day. i have been to my oncologist, my internist, my gynecologist and had a colonoscopy all within the past six weeks. Cat scans, chest
x-ray, blood work twice and now I have to go through more. Like when I was going through breast cancer treatment being sick is a full time job. I am not really sick, just too exhausted all the time with my aching legs keeping me from moving fast. I'm a Type A personality and I am used to getting lots done. The only thing I have done lately was work on Obama's campaign and I could have done more. I have yet to pick up the yard signs on my neighborhood block. Saw a terrible film last night, Rachel's Wedding. It had good reviews and even one from a good friend but frankly, I hated it and could not wait for it to be over. Same with "W", one of the worst films ever made by my favorite director, Oliver Stone. Boring. Living through the real George Bush was bad enough. Had he had Josh Brolin's sex appeal, it would have been more bearable. Maybe.
