Palin, 1st runner-up in Miss Alaska Contest

While channel surfing yesterday, I saw an interview on Fox News with the woman who won Miss Alaska the same year Sarah Palin came in 1st runnerup. The woman did not keep up with Palin, thought she had gone in to broadcast journalism and said she had no idea that Sarah had gone into politics or was now the Govenor of Alaska. The woman said she was supporting Barack Obama. I wish I had written down her name. The winner of Miss Alaska happened to be BLACK!.
