And then too tired to post about the Convention Tuesday night. I think the best thing about Hilary's appearance and speech was the film that was made and shown before. You would have thought she was the nominee. It was kinda of cool with the choice of music and images. Hillary is a total pro.
Bill Clinton's speech last night made we remember keenly why I always loved him while he was in office and was constantly enraged during those mean-spirited years at the antipathy towards him from the "con" servatives and the gleeful press. Best president in my lifetime and things were good.
I received a fearmongering article sent via email to me by a good friend and reacted in my typical way, of spouting off "this is garbage" instead of a more thoughtful response later in chagrin. The constant harping that there is no "redmeat" (ugh!) at the convention speeches is a total lie. Just watch C-Span. John Kerry was full of it and so was Ed Rendell and Bob Casey and the most courageous of them all, Dennis Kucinich. If the multiple anchors would just shut up they would hear plenty. I can't stand listening to the pundits create ridiculous "what ifs" and who hunt for any little morsel of something said or keeping up with the Puma's for Hillary. How about the Cougars for Obama?
