if I can't help my own family find a home for this cat, what is the use of having a blog. Her elderly parents truly adored her and spoiled her with home cooked chicken. Her Dad passed away two weeks ago. Her Mother has dementia, knows on one except Scarlett and pets her all day. My aunt is about to go to a nursing home in Colorado. Right now the kitty who looks like a Main Coon and whose face looks male to me, is still in her home in Woodbury, NJ. She has always been an only pet and gave my elderly aunt and uncle constant affection and a reason to live on. Her Dad said he wanted her put to sleep when he died because he knows no one will ever love her and treat her as she is used to. I understand that emotion. My own seven indoor and two outdoor cats get my full attention and love. I am forbidden to add another cat to the menagerie.
