I love John and hope he does better in NH.

This morning I am totally bummed that John Edwards did not come in first in Iowa, especially since he and Elizabeth put their heart and soul into their campaign. He would be a Teddy Rooselt trust buster, a fighter against everyone's enemy, giant corporations and there would be FDR-like changes in society. No longer would we have to feel frustrated that only big lobbyists are heard and our politicians are bought for campaign contributions. How about his trips to New Orleans to help rebuild houes for the poor? Time for me to send in another campaign contribution to the Edwards campaign.
The Bush tax cuts did not affect us personally but they sure ruined the economy. The wealthy conservatives, neocons and regular Republicans (if there are any left) got obscenely rich while endorsing a war they wanted the rest of us poor schmucks to pay for plus it was regular people that died fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan.

I do like Obama very much but he will not win in the red states where there remains plenty of racism. The fact that someone as cruel and cold hearted as Huckabee who comes across like the big doofus that he is but seems to charm people with his aw shucks personality makes me nauseous. He said the dog his son tortured and killed was mangy! He and his son are mangy.
