Poor metaphor on my part but I can't think. I have been sick since last Wednesday which proceeded to just get worse and worse. I tried to get by with over-the-counter medications, Robitussin Complete Care helping the most with my very painful cough. Yesterday I started antibiotics. So hoping I am better by this Saturday.
I'm being given a birthday party by my husband even though my birthday isn't until Monday. There is a family baby shower planned for Sunday. I wanted a party but now I feel like it's making a fuss over something I would rather pretend didn't happen. The number puts me up there with a number that seems to be universally ancient. Maybe this will be my last year on earth. I know I don't want to get any older where everything begins dissolving. Some people my age reached this stage ten years ago but mercifully I've been fighting age my entire life and I have found each year is not so bad.
